    My daughter and her husband won a three night, four day, ocean front, condo (gift certificate) at a silent auction through my grandchildren's school ($274). When we tried to make reservations the first time we were told "you have to use it during off season", even though it didn't say that on the gift certificate. I asked to speak with the manager several times and no one would ever return my calls so we decided to try again in September (off season). When we went to check in, we were charged $120 cleaning fee that we knew NOTHING about, again they wouldn't work with us. Our condo was NOT ocean front, the second bedroom had two single beds that could not be pushed together (tiny) and the air conditioning would not go below 70 degrees. I would not recommend Myrtle Grand Vacations to anyone, they will not work with you at all and are very deceiving.

    RENTERS BEWARE You can rent from the actual owners of the vacation homes through other websites. Speaking with other renters at Myrtle Beach Resort they were able to rent from the actual owners who provided clean rooms with all the amenities. This company cares only about being paid and does not care about customers. My room was dirty, broken and missing amenities that were advertised with the add. The items provided were rusty and could not be used. Went to the office to ask for the $100 that i was charged to ensure a clean room (as i spent my first day cleaning a condo that was probably not cleaned all summer) and i was advised the room was cleaned (basically called me a liar) and then they said "I suggest you go back and enjoy your vacation" while they walked away from me (yes Ken- talking about you and your sidekick) and then flat out called me me rude for being upset about the dirty room I received and I didn't even get an apology! They did say they would have done something if I called on the Sunday ( the day after check in) however they are only open to emergencies on Sunday and a dirty room is not an emergency. I did call, no phone call back and just frustration on my end. Overall, Renters BEWARE!! PS. Myrtle Beach Resort is awesome - just get a room from a renter who cares about the customer

  • We stayed at the Sands. It was a very nice condo. Clean and a great view. I recommend staying in April as the weather was warm and the crowds were not there. We plan on going back in the late summer.
